Who We Are
The name that we chose for the company reflects our appropriation of the promises of God as contained in His word – blessings and fortification. It is from this knowledge of the promises of the word of God that we chose the name– MABARAKA. It is derived from the Swahili language and when translated it means many fold blessings. BARAKA means blessings and adding the prefix MA, which means many, the name now becomes MABARAKA. The business concept was conceived in 2004 and implemented as a sole trader in 2005 as part of the initial market assessment. The business was eventually registered as a Close Corporation in 2009. The MABARAK GROUP has managed to withstand the first few years of its existence as a small business and is fully acquainted with the market to be able to offer its customers a consistent service of the expected quality.
The company is established to fill a niche in the Cross Border goods transportation market, focusing on the SADC region and growing further into the interior of the continent. With the planned improvement in the road infrastructure of the region, management decision to enter the market in the last nine years is certainly starting to bear fruit, which augurs well for the future sustenance and profitability of the business. More and more African countries are engaging in bi-lateral trade agreements which will propel our companies into more countries. The company management has gained a lot of experience since its inception and a plan is in place to grow the other divisions of the company in order to offer a comprehensive range of interrelated services. We are covering the following countries:
ANGOLA; BOTSWANA; DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO; LESOTHO; MOZAMBIQUE; NAMIBIA; SOUTH AFRICA; SWAZILAND; ZAMBIA AND ZIMBABWE and still counting….

Our motto is a constant reminder of our sole reliance on the promises of God when He said, “For I know the plans I have for you, the plans of peace and not of evil, to prosper you and not to harm you.” We have achieved what we have managed to achieve so far because we believe these promises of God which has become so real to us. These are blessings for those who are in contact and associated with us – from family, friends and customers.
Our Vision
Our vision is to continue to be a living testimony to the disadvantaged generation as we continue to positively impact the business sector through our reliance on the word of God which the foundation of our business since its inception in the last nine years going into the next ten years. We break this next decade as follows:
2014 – 2016: We see ourselves entrenching our brand with existing customers, thus preparing a way for getting more established customers.
2017 – 2020: We see ourselves playing a prominent role in the transportation of goods on a

Our Mission
Our mission to trade is derived from our business philosophy – that is to be the preferred and trusted transporter and safe carrier of goods and commodities on the road until they are released safely into the hands of our principals who are the customers that entrust us with their valuable and highly anticipated products which are indispensable to their businesses.
